Hello, I'm french guy, in the south of France. Sorry, i don't speak german a little english....
I bought my Country 3 months ago. I'm very happy....
I like WV cars and my other WV is a G2 16 V 1989.... and my surname is 19KR22....
My Country is presented in the gallery whith my surname.
In France, there's not a lot of Country....And i have a little question : I 've see in the gallery a lot of Country in off road actions, what is the type of tyres you used for that ?
I make some off road and with tarmac tyres it is not evident....
I've tried to put off road tyres (205/70/15).... it's not good, the tyres touch the car.....
Can I have your help ?
Thanks... |

Hello, Mr. French-man!!!
I'am using 195/60 R 15 87 S.
This are the standart tyres for the Country, and I think they have a good dimension for on- and off-road-driving...
With best regards from 09423 Gelenau, GERMANY

Thanks joerg, I know that the two possibilities for Country are : 195/60/15 whith Speedline and 205/60/15 with Chrom series (I have this kind of tyres on my car).
But the thing I want to know, if it's possible, what kind of tyres for off road, for example 50% road and 50 % off road.
But I'm looking for off road tyres in these dimensions, and it's impossible to find, the standards dimensions start at 205/70/15.... And it's impossible to put on the car, the tyre touch inside and outside.....
Is there a solution with 14' dimension ?
Or a tyre in 195 or 205/60/15 ?
Thanks for all.... |

Thanks,
I made some researchs, and I saw that's impossible to find a off road tyre in these dimension.... I'm really disapointed
You only can find Off road race tyre.... And you can't use it for tarmac ......
Perhaps, a winter tyre ? but I have to do some tarmac road and off road tracks (mixed use) and I don't know if a winter tyre can resist in off road use ?
Is there a solution ?
Thanks for all.... |

Sorry for my Bad English, but i don't use it every day!
Yes thats right, for our Country there isn't very much to buy!
But look at http://www.rennsportshop.com/
1.
The Tire F4 Rallye (Fedima)
you can Order in:
195/60/15
205/60/15
and with the E-Sign you can use it on the Road (I think!!! Perhaps you can ask them, but i'm sure you can use it on the Road with the E-Sign!!!)
2.The Tire S505 (Silverston)
you can Order in:
175/70/14
(with E-Sign)
3.The Tire Rallyecross(Unigom)
you can Order in:
195/60/15
(with E-Sign)
You can Order other tires in 195/60/15 or other ... but they haven't a
E-Sign
You can Order every Tire with different rubber (Soft-Medium-Hard)
Someone told me for Street-use, medium is recommendable!
But before you Order some, it's beter to ask at rennsportshop !!!

Thanks for yours informations....
But all these tyres are made for compétions.... For example : Fedima, make tyres for off road races, the F4 tyre is not homologated for road use....
Some of them, can be used on road.... but they make not a lot of kilometers.... they are not made for this..
The use is very restricted : you can use these tyres for a day in off road, not for every day.... I can't have 8 wheels : 4 tyres for road, and when I make off road put on the off road tyres....
That's I want, it's only 4 tyres for every day use, and possibility to make off road with.... like the Goodrich All terrain T/A....
But it's imposible to find the good dimension, all terrain tyres dimension starts at 205/70/15.....
Tradionnal tyres in 195/60/15 or 205/60/15 have a heigt of 600 mm, a all terrain in 205/70/15 a height of 690 mm.... and the tyre touch... you can't turn....
I think, after a lot of researchs, that's impossible to find a all terrain tyre for Country....
Just Winter tyre in M/S (mud and snow)..... |

Hmm, i understand you, but there is one another possibility!
with the size off 185/65/15 there are two 4*4 Tires to buy at http://offroadreifen.com/
1.:
185/65R15 88T Continental 4X4 Contact
2.:
185/65R15 92T Michelin 4X4 Synchrone
Some people here in the Forum drives already with this size of tires!
And there are already some persons who drives with one tire from the factory Colway in the size 195/65/15 ... but with this size you must change something one your car!

Hello,
That's I want to know : If it's possible to put on the Country tyres for off road.
But, for a mixed use, 50% road and 50% off road....
I don't want to change my wheels every we.....
I tried to put on 205/70/15 : it's impossible.... the tyres are too big... and touched inside and outside......
I have no solution..... |

These are Goodyear Wrangler AT tires, size 195/75-14. Absolutely the largest diameter you can run without serious modifications to wheel arches. In fact, these will rub slightly in the rear while turning and the tires are brand new...
Don't know if these can be found in Europe... good luck!
Edit:
And then just today I find this picture:
So, maybe there is a bigger tire that will fit... I'll try to get more info! [/i] |
